AISC (All-In Sustaining Cost)
FinancialTotal cost of production per ounce, including sustaining CapEx and G&A.
Detail
All-In Sustaining Cost is the industry standard for production-cost reporting at gold miners (introduced by the World Gold Council in 2013). Included: direct mining cost + royalties + sustaining CapEx + general & administrative + reclamation. NOT included: growth CapEx, income tax, financing cost. AISC under $1,000/oz is considered low-cost; above $1,500/oz high-cost. The spread between gold price and AISC = operating margin.
Example
Lundin Gold AISC for Fruta del Norte is typically in the low $700/oz range — exceptional due to the extremely high grade.
