JORC Code

Regulatory

Australian standard for public reporting on mineral resources and reserves.

Detail

The JORC Code (Joint Ore Reserves Committee) is the Australian counterpart to NI 43-101 — mandatory for ASX-listed mining companies. Like NI 43-101, JORC uses Inferred/Indicated/Measured for resources and Probable/Proven for reserves, with similarly strict reporting requirements via a Competent Person (CP, equivalent to the Qualified Person). International mining companies often reference both standards for cross-listings. Mineralis handles JORC reports in the same Geology sub-score workflow as NI 43-101.
