NI 43-101

Regulatory

Canadian standard for public reporting on mineral resources and reserves.

Detail

National Instrument 43-101 is the Canadian disclosure standard for mineral projects — the mandatory format for every TSX/TSX-V-listed mining company to publish resource and reserve estimates. NI 43-101 Technical Reports must be signed by a Qualified Person (QP) and follow a structured 27-section format (Property Description, Geology, Mineral Processing, Mineral Resource Estimates, etc.). Comparable international standards are JORC (Australia) and SAMREC (South Africa). For Mineralis, NI 43-101 reports are the primary source of truth for Geology sub-score inputs.

Example

Lundin Gold NI 43-101 Technical Report (Q3 2024) for the Fruta del Norte mine — source for Grade 8.68 g/t and Tonnage 17.98 Mt.
